What is Zumba Dance?
In the 1990s, a Colombian dancer and choreographer developed [1] a new dance fitness program that he called Zumba, which combines elements of dance and aerobics, including many different styles of South American-inspired dancing and rudimentary exercises In today’s busy world, people are always looking for the next way to adapt so they have the time to get in shape and blow off some steam. There are a whole range of activities out there, but none have taken the UK by storm as much as Zumba, which combines dancing, music and movement into an exercise routine that leaves people with a serious buzz. Zumba is basically a dance form that has evolved out in this 21st century. This dance form basically consists of steps that are innovative and entertaining. There are some particular format and layout mentioned in zumba other than all other moves are innovative. There are several different kinds of Zumba classes, from Aqua Zumba workouts to classes like Zumba Toning that incorporate weights for additional calorie burning and strength training. There are even Zumba classes for kids.
Advantages of Zumba: Zumba is one of the most popular exercise crazes in recent years, and with good reason! There are many health benefits of zumba, including its ability to burn calories, work out the entire body, boost the metabolism, increase endurance, boost mood, aid coordination, and improve confidence.

Maybe this doesn’t seem so important to you right now, but you will appreciate it once you get older and you won’t suffer from the consequences of poor coordination.

*Aerobic advantages- Zumba makes getting to your target heart rate much easier than standard workout routines that you'd find on a DVD or in a gym. It does this by using songs that play around 145 beats per minute. This fast pace makes it feel natural to move around quickly. This will set you on the path to true aerobics excercise. If you are trying to build endurance, this is the best thing you can do for yourself. Exercising for prolonged periods at this rate can increase the strength of your heart.
*Anaerobic benefits- Aerobics means “without oxygen” and refers to exercise is short, fast and high intensity. Use anaerobic exercises to build and tone muscles. Anaerobic exercises include free weights, Body Sculpt, Pilates, and weight circuit training. It builds up your anaerobic endurance rather quickly. This type of training is as intense as one should go without explicit direction from a physician. Overall, it's most useful for helping to maintain a good cardiovascular respiratory system. It increases how much oxygen you can breathe during a high-intensity event. Many athletes train at this level for just this reason.
*Increased confidence- The social aspect of zumba is different than most workout situations. By improving your dance moves and your physical health in a fun, informal setting like a zumba class can make you feel more comfortable with your body, which improves self-confidence, and encourages you to return for another workout soon! Zumba develops our passion through body movement, giving us more confidence.
*Mood Boosting- Zumba is the perfect workout to take if you want to get rid of all that stress you accumulate during your every day. by joining a Zumba class, you’ll surely be able to feel your worries melt away as you lose yourself in the music.
